Our annual Arts and Food Market takes place on the last weekend in November, perfectly timed for Christmas. Full details will be posted on the website soon.
Festive Meats Demonstration
Wednesday 9 December
Our butchers will show you how to prepare seasonal meats for the Christmas dinner or dinner party, including a 3 bird roast. Our chef Andrew will be roasting some of the meats to try including duck fat roast potatoes.
There is also late night shopping at the Harley Gallery next door, with complimentary wine and locally produced Stichelton cheese between 6 and 8pm.

Venison Butchery Demonstration
Wednesday 4 November
Paul Birchall, our butcher, will be demonstrating on how to make the most of wild Venison from Welbeck.
There will also be free refreshments on the night, including some fantastic Venison Strogonoff prepared by our Chef Andrew.
Butchery Demonstration
Thursday 10 September
Our butcher, Paul Birchall has been asking customers what they would like to see at a butchery demonstration, and on Thursday 10 September he will be able to answer your questions and demonstrate how to make the most of your meat. The demonstration will also include some useful tips on how to keep your knives sharp. Tickets are priced at £2.50 per person and are available from the shop.
Summer Party
Sunday 28 June 10am - 4pm
We will be holding a FREE summer party in the Harley courtyard on Sunday 28 June featuring a barbecue, live music, local ales and a photography exhibition. We'd love to see you there!
Beef Butchery Demonstration in June

Summer Market

10 local suppliers will be attending a summer market in the Gallery courtyard. Come and sample their delicious produce and hopefully enjoy the sunshine!

Butchery Demonstration
7pm, Thursday 5 March 2009
Enjoy a glass of wine on arrival and then watch our skilled butchers cut and prepare a side of pork. Including bacon curing, sausage making and useful tips on how best to make the most of our local pork.
Included in the demonstration will be tasty snacks prepared by our chef.

The shop will be open on the night between 6pm and 7pm for shopping
"Making Stichelton" Talk with Joe Schneider
7-8pm, Thursday 11 December 2008
Master cheesemaker Joe Schneider gives a free talk on the creation and making of award winning Stichelton cheese, produced right here on the Welbeck Estate.
The talk is part of a Late Night Evening in association with The Harley Gallery which features a wine and cheese evening from 6pm and concludes with a lecture on George Stubbs and Landscape Art by Professor Stephen Daniels.
The Welbeck Farm Shop is open until 8pm for Christmas Shopping.

In association with The Harley Gallery, Welbeck will be host to an ARts and Food Market over the last weekend in November.
With work from over 30 local artists from hound bound books to felted hot water bottles and 10 regional luxury food producers this is a weekend event you musn't miss!

British Sausage Week

British Sausage Week takes place between 3rd and 9th November and as usual Welbeck Farm Shop will be taking part.
Why not come and try some of our wonderfully tasty home-made sausages, made on-site by our master butchers.
There is also a competition for the best sausage recipe.

Butchery Masterclass
6pm Thursday 6 November
On Thursday 6th November between 6pm and 8pm we are having a FREE Lamb Butchery Masterclass. Our very own butchers Mark Brown and Paul Birchall will be presenting a very timely demonstration with plenty of ideas on how to use cheaper cuts of lamb this winter.
Welbeck Farm Shop is situated 6 miles from Worksop in Nottinghamshire on the Welbeck Estate. The shop opened in October 2006 and specialises in meat and game sourced from the Estate as well as cheeses such as Stichelton and Lincolnshire Poacher. Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables plus the very best organic foods are always in stock.
