Celebrate British Sausage Week at Welbeck

British Sausage Week takes place between 3rd and 9th November and as usual Welbeck Farm Shop will be taking part.

Why not come and try some of our wonderfully tasty home-made sausages, made on-site by our master butchers.

Butchery Masterclass

On Thursday 6th November between 6pm and 8pm we are having a FREE Lamb Butchery Masterclass. Our very own butchers Mark Brown and Paul Birchall will be presenting a very timely demonstration with plenty of ideas on how to use cheaper cuts of lamb this winter.

Take Away a Doggy-bag from Welbeck’s Summer Event

Visitors to the Welbeck Farm Shop, near Worksop, Nottinghamshire, over the weekend 5–6 July are almost certain to leave with a doggy-bag, if they love their food, their best friend and other fine things in life.

The much acclaimed farm shop, which sources much of its top quality, local produce from the historic Welbeck Estate, is staging a special event to celebrate launching its new alcoholic range of locally brewed beers and ciders and excellent wines.

The farm shop is based in the courtyard on the site of the Estate’s nineteenth century gasworks and will be buzzing with activity and things to do, taste and appreciate.

Welbeck Easter Barbecue

The barbie season is starting early this year with a specially themed Spring Barbecue, to be hosted by the Welbeck Farm Shop on Easter Monday, 24 March, to herald the arrival of Spring in Nottinghamshire.

The Welbeck Farm Shop, based on the historic Welbeck Estate, near Worksop, encourages customers to enjoy the extra flavour of foods eaten in season.  Spring provides lots of delicious reasons to follow this policy and the farm shop team will use some of the best meats and vegetables available on the Estate at this time of year, to demonstrate the difference this little bit of food know-how brings to the plate.

Welbeck Farm Shop in the national press

Welbeck Farm Shop have recently been featured in two national publications. The Daily Telegraph on Thursday 6 March ran an article about Stichelton cheese, made on the Welbeck Estate, focusing on its production and the people behind it.

And this month BBC Good Food magazine features the Farm Shop as its best of the month, as recommended by readers! We are are absolutely delighted, and would like to thank all of our customers who have recommended us.

Pre-Cooked Food Now Available

Welbeck Farm Shop are now selling home-made meals, soups, gravies and sauces prepared on the premises by our resident chef. They are all made using natural fresh and local ingredients from the farm shop. All of them are free from artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and e-numbers, and many are gluten free.

Welbeck Farm Shop is situated 6 miles from Worksop in Nottinghamshire on the Welbeck Estate. The shop opened in October 2006 and specialises in meat and game sourced from the Estate as well as cheeses such as Stichelton and Lincolnshire Poacher. Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables plus the very best organic foods are always in stock.
